Sleep #1--Slumber shirts

Every American girl loves a sleep-over at a friend's house.... we always called them "wake-overs"! These slumber shirts are perfect for the occasion.

A special fairy comes with each slumber shirt. As we all know, fairies are known to have different color dresses as well as hair!

Although Western wear is not new to my local boutique, due to many requests, I have decided to add this section to my Specialty web page. Here you will find traditional Western wear as well as contemporary outfits that you would find on today's young girls going into town on a Saturday afternoon.

In order to assure that my accessories are available to garment buying customers, these items will be sold only with the items that they are being offered with.

Horsin' Around

Original western pants were made of a heavy weight cotton called duck cloth. It was stiff and helped protect the Westerner's legs from the shrubbery. Made in the same fashion, these decorative edged work pants are paired with a black jersey and horse motif fleece vest; this is a perfect outfit for a day of hard work on the ranch! A pretty flocked horse comes with each set. Horse colors vary.

This outfit currently comes with a rust shirt.

Bedroll n' Boots

Ready for cold weather? This bedroll and real suede fringed leather boots was part of many culture's preparation for the coming of winter. A fur bed pad would have been used by many different homes to sleep on to stay toasty at night. It was also used by people sleeping on the open range to soften the hard ground! This roll is tied with a leather strap so that it can slip over her shoulders to be carried easily. The suede boots are a perfect addition to any cowgirl's wardrobe.

Although these fashions were created with Josefina in mind, any one of your dolls would enjoy them as well!

We tend to forget that the designs of our garments are derived from studying the many cultures around the world. For our winter wear, fabric manufactures turned to the Arctic regions to find out what kept the local people warm. They found the fluffy outer layer and deep nap of natural fur created an insulating effect. This helped them create our "polar fleece."

Summer designs have a tendency to be brighter in color like you would find in tropical areas. On very hot days, we often turn to the long billowing skirts that allow the breeze to dance around our legs.

These skirt sets are available in many different tropical color schemes. Each set comes with a sleeveless jersey, full skirt, a surprise "Spanish lingo" charmer necklace, informative brochure and a pair of casual or dress shoes. With so many colors to choose from, these tropical designs would be the perfect addition to any playmate's wardrobe for those up-coming summer days!

This two piece set is made of suede cloth. It has a separate beaded belt that ties in the back. The finished length falls mid calf and is fringed. Put feathers in her her hair and she will be ready for any outdoor adventure!
